My first painting with watercolour pencils – for a long time

I’ve use watercolour pencils before, but that was a while ago and I wanted to try it again. So, I went off to an art shop and bought some!

They are nothing special, just fairly cheap Crawford & Black ones – but it will help me to learn how to use them well.

This painting was just of the my front garden in my house. The big long line in the left was the inside of my window, but it doesn’t work well in this scene, so I probably should have removed it.

Once I had finished most of the painting I went over it in a black – 0.38mm – fine liner pen, and then with some more paint. The pen seems to be fairly water soluble which is good.

So, thanks for reading! Feel free to leave a comment below, if you have any questions, or anything!

Bye for now, I’ll do a new post soon!
